Lately, Pinterest seems to be eating into the tiny bit of time I have. It’s completely addictive and I just love it. If you want to see what we’re looking at, follow us! Lots of great Wedding ideas there too.
A frame, designed to look like a polaroid with a backlit image. I think this would look great for most images – and could make a beautiful, new way to display a favourite wedding photograph. Just send them your image and they do the rest And if you find yourself wanting to change the art in your room, they’ll change the image very simply. Now if only I could find a price on their website…. Two things I love – a series of ‘dull’, repetitive images and screenprinting. Naturally, two of my favourite photographers are Bernd and Hilla Becher, but more on them later.
Louise and Alan were married in Ballinteer and had their reception in The Radisson St Helen’s Hotel. It was a beautiful day, sun shining and blue skies. More photos to follow once Louise and Alan are back from their honeymoon and see them first! Paul was busy photographing Christos Tsiolkas for The Guardian last week. The piece appeared here in the online version http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2010/aug/07/the-slap-christos-tsiolkas They actually used a different photo of Paul’s in the print version to the online version for some reason. The shoot was in Dun Laoghaire – I love the seagulls! This is great. They shot 60.000 pictures, developed 9.600 prints and shot over 1.800 pictures again I recently bought some of these beautiful animal prints from Sharon Montrose’s etsy shop to put in M’s room over her cot. I haven’t framed them yet so they’re still sitting in a cupboard (as usual) but hopefully will sort that out soon. We’ve photographed quite a lot of animals ourselves but never got the chance to do pigs, giraffes etc. You see a lot of bad animal photography so these make a refreshing change. Here’s how she does it. |
